Another travel planning site, this time by SpiceJet

It's still in its pre-launch phase, but Spicejet's new travel planning is another one in the growing line of online travel sites. Looks like we are in for another dotcom bust. Only this time it will be in the .travel bubble.

MySpiceTrip.com is powered by TripFactory.com and offers travelers content, itineraries, hotel rates and packages. It is offering an 80% off on more than 1,00,000 holiday packages as part of its introductory offer! For example, it claims to offer a 3-day holiday to destinations like Goa and Shimla for as low as Rs 4,000 per person, inclusive of return flights, hotels and other services.

The novelty here is that this platform enables hotel and holiday suppliers to add their own inventory directly, making this site their cheapest distribution channel.

You can search this site like you use Google, using simple sentences like: Things to do in Kochi. MySpiceTrip also offers live chat with travel experts.
